Cost: $150 per player. No partner required.

Event Schedule:

Day 1 Beach Clinic
9am-11am Introductions, Warmup and On-court Drills with Coaches
11am-12pm Coaches Panel (Off Court): Coaches answer your questions, subjects to include; best practices for skill development, best practices for nutrition, drills that develop your game
12pm-1pm Lunch, not included in event fee
1pm-5pm: Tournament

About ProjectU Showcases:
Stephen McCarthy, Director of TMP Beach, has prepared over 15,000 youth, high school, college athletes for over a span of 18 years. He has trained players who have played the following professional sports: NBA and NHL. He has developed over 150 college athletes within the sports of basketball, volleyball (indoor and beach), soccer, swimming and hockey.  Currently, Stephen is a USAV certified official, a USAV Beach Impact and BCAP I certified volleyball coach, a member of AVCA, a sponsored JVA beach club, as well as, a ISSA certified personal trainer and fitness nutrition consultant.

Rico Guimaraes, Beach Volleyball Specialist, Rico grew-up on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated from the University of Hawaii, where Rico was a standout volleyball player for the Rainbow Warriors in the early nineties. After graduating from Hawaii, Rico went on to play professionally in Europe, Brazil and the AVP. Rico has spent more than 20 years coaching volleyball professionally. He has coached every level, from juniors, to amateurs, to college and the pros. Presently he is on his 9th year as the Beach Head Coach for Team USA, Rico also leads a group of post-college players making the transition of becoming professional beach volleyball players called the Atlantic Project as well as the Technical Director and Co-owner of Carioca Volleyball Club. Rico has also been coaching in the collegiate level as the assistant coach for two different Division 1 schools in the last 3 years, and has reached the “NCAA Final 8” two of out 3 years he has coached. Rico is currently living in Florida, where he trains the pro’s and develop his Club, and help promote the sport, and offer high level beach training.
